Valley Kids Academy is a locally owned and operated licensed childcare centre in Courtenay, BC, proudly serving children and families throughout the Comox Valley. Our centre is licensed for up to 21 children, with a 1:5 educator-to-child ratio.
With over 20 years of professional experience caring for children and supporting their families, our founder had a vision to create a childcare centre where children could feel connected, confident and excited to learn. In 2024, with the support and encouragement of a close friend who helped bring that vision to life, Valley Kids Academy was born.
Our approach to early childhood education is rooted in connection, community, play and exploration. We believe children learn best when they are given the time and space to follow their interests, build independence and explore the world around them.
Today, Valley Kids Academy is proud to provide a warm, welcoming childcare and preschool-style program in the Comox Valley, with plenty of outdoor learning, meaningful play and opportunities to connect with our community.
