Welcome / Gilakas’la to Valley Kids Academy!
We are excited to have your child join us in play and learning! Valley Kids Academy is an Island Health licensed childcare centre in Courtenay, BC, serving families throughout the Comox Valley. We currently provide licensed childcare for children ages 3-5 years. Our centre is licensed for up to 21 children, with a 1:5 educator-to-child ratio.
We believe children are the masters of their own learning. Our role as educators is to encourage each child’s growth through their own interests, exploration and play, while building confidence and independence within their community. Our days include long periods of uninterrupted play, outdoor learning and exploration, giving children the time and space to fully engage in activities that interest them. We also offer plenty of opportunities for group play and facilitated activities that children can choose to participate in.
Open communication with families is important to us. We primarily communicate through the Lillio app and ask families to download it before their child’s first day. Our team is also available by phone, text and email.

2900 Cliffe Ave, Courtenay, BC. We are located inside the Ocean Front Seniors Village.
